  14. for some time now (ca 1 year) I have the problem that I cannot get the EMPLANT
  15. SCSI working with my QUANTUM hd on the Amiga side of the system, although
  16. the MAC can use it with no problems. After checking everything twice
  17. (termination, reselect clean installation etc.) I gave up. But now I found 
  18. out that there are at least 2 other people with the same problem and the 
  19. same HW configuration : 4030, EMPLANT with SCSI and a QUANTUM hd. So, if 
  20. anybody else has problems, (the problems shared by us are random lockups, so
  21. that we cannot even format a big partition (120 Mb partition had to be formated
  22. 14 times, before completing the format procedure just once! )) even slightly
  23. different from ours, please inform us, so that perhaps a patch can be worked
  24. out!
